What Should I Do Being Friend-zoned?

When you are in love with him and he is not having it, leave him be.

Life can be so unfair and cruel. You see this guy, he is fly and all, one thing leads to another and you have fallen so deeply in love with him and he just friend-zoned you, walk away.

Find the courage within you to walk away.
Tell yourself the truth and face the reality of it and walk away with your remaining self worth. Refuse to walk in anyone's shadow.

Stand in front of your mirror and ask yourself what do I really see in me? It is what you see in yourself that will determine how you handle yourself henceforth.
Decide to take it one step at a time daily surviving the hurt.

There is nothing worth taking away your inner peace except you decide to allow it. Life is a choice and I implore you to choose wisely.

Success is the best form of payback.
When he has friend-zoned you for whatever reason, choose to succeed and be resourceful and generate results that will stand the taste of time.

The Ride Of A Life Time!

I was still in college then and we had lecture free week, instead of going home to my parents, I decided to visit my boyfriend.

Driving my red sports car and feeling cool with myself, I sighted this lady under the scourging heat of the sun and decided to give her a lift. As we got talking, I realized she was also heading to Portharcourt city, though she lived and worked there, she had gone to the nearby state to attend a friend's wedding.

We got to Portharcourt and I dropped her off in front of a company and zoomed off happily to my boyfriend's house. We had talked about a few things and I remember telling her my man worked in the same oil company as hers. We even exchanged numbers and looked forward to being friends.

When I got to my boyfriends house, he was waiting for me,  he was home during lunch break just to welcome me. He appeared so happy to see me, I felt so loved. We had a quick one *grin* before he left back to the office.

I might have dosed off or so after the routine house cleaning and fixing early dinner. I was abruptly awakened by the forceful bang opening of the door with attendant raised voices. It was my boyfriend, his cousin and a lady.

The cousin rushed to me to protect me from being hit with a shoe while my supposed boyfriend was holding on to this lady trying to persuade her.  I quickly jumped out of the couch in the midst of the whole confusion, Lo and behold, it was my supposed new friend I had given a ride in my car to Portharcourt...

What Do You See?

How do you see yourself?
Take some seconds to think about it.

The way you see yourself matters and goes a long way to shape your life. It is okay not to know it all, it is okay not to be the genius in the block, it is okay not to be drawn to many people.

Listen young woman,  you are created for only one man not all man and when that one man sees you, every other thing is inconsequential.

When you think low of yourself, you act low and become clingy and irritating.
You are full of resource, take time out to discover you. It is so beautiful and refreshing to know that you matter in life scheme of things.

Stop trying so hard to be like the person next to you. You are unique,  all you have to do is discover who you are.

Ask yourself, what do you really enjoy about yourself? Once you can answer that then dwell on that thought for as long as you can and then bask in the euphoria of self love.

What Keeps A Relationship! Sex or sex?

Sex or sex???
There is the art of sex and there is the personality sex.  Which of them do you think keeps and sustains a relationship? I'll tell you.

Sex fades, becomes outdated and never satisfying. But your personality is ever green.

Work on your personality. God the Almighty creator had deposited so much in you, so, you can't afford to be sitting at one corner waiting to be a sex toy for any man.

Invest in your personality, work on your character, filter your words before you say them. Put checks on your character.

Life is beautiful, life is good but it is your personality that will enable the way you choose to see life.
Choose wisely.

How Far Can You Go?

How far can you go for the one you love? 

How far can you go just to protect that love?  

How far can you go just stomach all the 'ish' that go through in your relationship? 

I've had quite a number of sacrifices to make in a relationship but at some point I  realise that the loyalty is one sided. But did that make me quit? No! 

Rather it fuelled in me a stronger desire to keep on and at the end of the day, loyalty always win.  

I want to encourage you to go as far as you can in your loyalty to that relationship that you are in right now. 

No matter how heartbreaking it gets,  find the strength within to go the length because at the end of the day, loyalty is all that matters.

My Body can't Take It Anymore!

When you long for his touch and he is not there to touch you,  when your heart yearns for just his smile and he is still not there, when you quake at the thought of him, then you know that your body can't take it anymore.

Tears are not enough, hugging your pillow will only worsen the situation because your heart keeps racing uncontrollably to the thoughts of him.  

When my body can't take it anymore, I cry but there is no one to console me. Why can't he just understand that he is all that my body ever yearn for? Why can't he understand that I'm at that point where my body can't take it anymore? 

Dear sister, you are not alone. 

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda!

What? Why? Because?
Should I?,  would I?, Could I?
YES!

Go for it. No matter how long you live on earth, it is nothing compared to eternity. So, go for it. Love again, care again, give your heart again.

You have no reason to second guess yourself, go on and take that date,  go on and attend that reunion, go ahead and attend that wedding ceremony, just make sure that you are not second guessing you.

You have been holding yourself back for too long thereby restricting your soul from fully experiencing true fulfilment and happiness.  You have told yourself so many lies that you aren't good enough.

The truth is,  you are a limited edition, you are unique and  you have all it takes to be happy again.

You are not meant for everyone, you are meant for that one person but you have to take your chances in other to meant that special someone.

Yes you should, and yes you can.

Dirty Mind or Sexy Imagination!

Never allow anyone that doesn't understand the rhythm of your destiny to dictate the move of your life.

It is not humility to allow other people bash you because of your love choice. The slut-shaming is not okay so stop accepting it like it is okay or like you deserve it, no.

No one deserves to be treated or spoken down on because you choose to express your love choice.

What do you call a dirty mind?  It is just a figment of crazy people's imagination.

There is nothing dirty about your mind, your mind is created pure and perfect, it is creative.
Use your imagination and imaginative tendencies in an appealing sense.

You are a woman,  explore your mind.

Fight For It!

Yes! You heard me right, fight for it?
Why should you just let go? Why should you sacrifice your being happy just for another person? Hello??? Stale news.

Gone are the days when you play the miss goody two shoes and holier than thou attitude. Who cares? Do you think anyone gives a hoot about you?  Please wake up.

You too deserve to be happy, you too deserve to live, you too deserve to be treated right. Life is for the living hence, giving up is never an option.

Your partner is waiting to see you fight for what you believe in, just a little something extra. A little nudge from you is all that is required to do the magic.
Stop the pity patter and fight for what you believe in, fight for your love and it will be worth it.

What Will It Cost You To Live Happy?

Many times, we worry over things that we ordinary ought to throw away and walk away from. What will it cost you to live happy?

Life is a choice. Life is in phases, we must consciously make a choice to live happy.

A story is told of a lady who was sick, she was so sick in her health that the doctors got worried that her health was detoriating so fast. One of the doctor's decided to carry out an experiment on her.

The Doctor gave her a pen and a paper with a simple question,  "what will it cost you to live happy?" the more the lady thought on the question, the more tears flowed freely from her eyes. Finally she just replied, I just want to be happy.

Guess what,  the thought of living happy was what made her health deteriorate.

Stop thinking it, just live. Live one day at a time concentrating on the things that tickles you fancy. Go all out it because happiness is from within.

Choose to see the good in everything and everyone. Choose to be positive and optimistic, stop thinking of what it will cost you to live happy, just live happy.

Will You Stand By An Adulterous Partner?

I've been thinking through a whole lot going on in our mainstream lately. So I ask,  will you stand by an adulterous partner?

There's a lot of people especially women alike in particular whose partner's cheat in the relationship.

I met this woman who is in her early 60's. I see her as a mother figure and relate with her as such but there was these part of her that she never talked about. Yesterday she told me a story about her friend, Pamela.

Pamela was a beautiful woman with a good heart. She cared deeply for her husband. Then one evening he comes home with a lady he claims is his colleague and had no place to stay because her landlord had thrown her out.
Pamela being the 'good woman' she is,  didn't question but took the stage lady in. Fast forward to five days later, Pamela returned home from the market to find her husband and his supposed colleague on their matrimonial bed. Later that night,  her husband and the female colleague who is his mistress joined Pamela in bed and in her presence, they had raunchy love making sessions and when they finished, the husband asked her to serve them tea,  which she did,  being 'the good woman', she served them.

Today, Pamela's husband is living with his mistress in another state,  15years and counting. While Pamela is now alone, lonely and a shadow of her once beautiful self all because she wanted to be the "good woman".

So I ask, will you stand by an adulterous partner?
