What Alibaba Taught Me On My Birthday!

Some people will want to make you look bad so that they will not be alone in their misery. This is why you have people who jump into any conversation to run somebody down because they can not stand to see anyone look good.

Do you remember the story of the 2 mother's and King Solomon? That is exactly what is at play. Because their banga no ripe... everybody must chop white soup. Kilode?!!!!!!!!!!!! Because your relationship ended badly doesn't mean every opportunity you get is to run other men or women down.

Every human being, and by that l mean man or woman, has different tolerance level. Some first wives can accommodate 2nd, 3rd and 4th wife. Some can be the 3rd or 4th wife sef. That is their cup of tea. Some women can take it when their husbands have girlfriends. It's ok. As long as he is discrete and doesn't rub it in their face. Some other ladies can not stand the fact that their man even took a picture with another woman.

One lady sent me a DM the other day asking

There Is No Remedy? You Lie!

When your heart is broken, when there is nothing and one to look up to, when the family line is strained, there is no remedy.

When you try so much not to hurt, and your heart quake because all you see is the pain and then you think there is no remedy?  You lie.

When It Becomes Expensive!

Family is the bedrock of sustainability in the world. The importance of family cannot be overemphasized.
The cheapest catalyst that speeds up positive reaction in a family is 'Unity'.

Unity is cheap but can also be expensive when not well harnessed in the family.

The woman has a huge role to play when it comes to harnessing or fostering Unity in the home.

In my opinion, the unity between the father and mother lies in the hands of the man while the unity between the children and the parents lies in the hands of the woman (Mother).

Mothers, do your best to foster unity amongst your children. Let there be oneness.
Teach your children the essence and importance of being one even the Bible say ". . . if your eye be single, your whole body will be full of light" meaning that light prevails when there is oneness, that is unity.

Your children must learn to look out for each other in love and also respect each other no matter what. The blessings far out way the little painless sacrifice of our time to speak about this.

When it becomes expensive, you will cry and no one will listen. But that won't be any of our portion in Jesus name Amen.

Mother, instill in your children to be a team and collaborate.
Stop instilling division.

A family doesn't need to be perfect it just needs to be united because there is more power in unity than in division.

Family Head Vs Family Leader

In a home, especially here in Africa, the man (Father)  is the head of the home and the woman (Mother) is the leader of the family. But most times it is not always so.
On this platform, I want to speak to the leader of the home, the woman (mother).

A family head is statutory as ordained by divinity, by law and by marriage.
The mother, as the leader of the family is the coordinator. You are the one to organize the children and other family members living in your home.

As the leader of the family, you are to be active, appear firm but full of love, never take sides and never allow any form of disrespect withing the family rank no matter the situation.

In a situation where the children grow into adulthood, be sensitive to know when you are no longer in charge and with wisdom,  identify amongst your children the one with a good leadership and organizing skills and encourage him/her to organise the rest of the siblings.

You came start with simple things like the birthday of a family member or your anniversary, then,  sit back and watch the outcome. With this, you can access how well they can organize themselves in you absence or incapacity because you won't always be available or active.

It is advisable to start now and start early.

May the blessings of this season locate your home. Amen.

I Couldn't Be Born Again!

. . .Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

I cried that day in the church when the pastor expantiated on the above verse.
Those who wanted to be born again stood up but I didn't, I just kept on weeping silently out of hopelessness.

My understanding then was that I had to enter again into my mother's womb to be born again so those who stood up were those whose mothers will agree to born again. Based on certain logistics I knew I could never go to my mother to be born again but I made a resolve.

While cooking that Sunday afternoon I stylishly told my mum what the Pastor has said and she hissed it off. I knew I never stood the chance after all.
But the urgency of the message kept burning within me, I didn't want to go to hell but then I resolved to tell as many people as I could to be born again.

I cornered my younger sister whom I saw then as my mum's favourite and told her how she needs to be born again so as not to go to hell fire. I convinced her to ask my mum to born her again.

With children my age, I kept spreading the news of how they have to meet their mothers to born them again so as to avoid the perils of hell fire. Parents began to get worried and soon reported me to my parents who warned me against spreading fear into the neighborhood children.

Today we celebrate Jesus Christ the risen king . Because he rose that is why we have hope of a fruitful life here on earth and an eternity hereafter.

May the blessedness of His resurrection be to us all. Amen.

It's Really Depressing!

When you love him and he doesn't love you back or when he doesn't show any kind of affinity towards you meanwhile in your head,  you have played out romantic scenes of both of you in a skillfully crafted love story. I can relate.

What do you do?

Live! Yes live! Do whatever you have to do to just live and enjoy the moment, just do it.

Take it one moment at a time, one day at a time and craft in your mind a picture or story of how you are a survivor and how you are having a better life without him in it.

And what if you see him everyday and probably work together, lady,
 friend-zone the nigga.

He doesn't pay for your oxygen, neither can he.
Just think of it this way,  if you break down psychologically because of him and thoughts of him,  he wouldn't give a hoot about you.
Just think about that for a day.

It Could Have Been Avoided!

He came down from his vehicle in such a manner that spoke rage and spat out venom from his lips as he tried to make his point.

His girlfriend came down from the vehicle and pleaded with him to let go and let them continue the journey but his masculine ego wouldn't let him being that the other man in the other vehicle that scratched his car also kept raising his voice. 

She managed to literally drag her man back into the car behind the wheel but he wanted to have a last say and before anyone could say what is going on, a punch, a slap, a head, and another slap and then finally a body slumps hitting the tarred road.

The death could have been avoided if only he took control of his anger.

You may not always be right, it's okay. You may not always have the last say, that too is no crime but when your punch does the last say and a a body hits the ground, that becomes a crime.

Be careful so that you won't find yourself behind bars thinking for what could have been avoided.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

That Soweth Discord Among Brethren!

"These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running into mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he THAT SOWETH DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN. " Proverbs 6:16-19.

It is an abomination before God for you to sow seeds of discord among brethren, siblings, in-laws.

Life is a blessing, life is good, especially when love lead.  We should allow our life to be impactful, to be a blessing.

What will you gain by sowing seeds of hatred in a family?

Before you arrived, the family have been cooperating and living with each other in peace and harmony but at your arrival, everything has turned upside down yet you keep fuelling the discord. What have you or will you gain?

It is not late to turn a new leaf. The time is NOW!
Teach them to love, teach them to be a family, teach them to have each others back, teach them the values of family.
It may take time but it will eventually be worth it.
